Modem Mischief - Script Writer

What’s wilder than breaking into NASA and CIA computers post 9/11? Doing it looking for proof of aliens.

I wrote four episodes for the podcast series Modem Mischief produced by Mad Dragon Productions.

Each episode is highly narrative — a thick blend of dramatic retellings pieced together from interviews, memoirs, articles, and essays.

(And I have an IMDB page?!)

Starting on January 17, I began writing one short story every day based on the (digital) front page of the New York Times.

If you’re reading this, I’m still doing it. Every day.

It requires empathy. Resilience. Grit. I write to exercise my creativity and flex my storytelling muscles.

I write not because it is fun. I write because I must. Because the news diminishes the humanity of events. It’s all fictional. But it’s all true.
